David Harry Baldock
After almost two decades of directing and producing documentaries, David Harry Baldock left TVNZ in 1988 to launch Ninox Television. The company’s roster of reality-based programming included export hit Sensing Murder, local award-winner Our People Our Century and nine seasons of Location Location Location. Baldock went on to make arts programmes in Shanghai.
Right from the start I’ve been consumed by television. It is a vehicle for what really drives me; telling people's stories. The medium is changing and broadening, but the message is still the same; to inform, educate and entertain those who wish to know other people's stories. I’m proud to be a storyteller.
