Suzanne Paul

Brit-born Suzanne Paul first made a splash on Kiwi television screens in the 1990s, thanks to her catchy infomercials. Hit TV show Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? saw her surprising ordinary New Zealanders with a run of celebrity guests. She paired up with Anthony Ray Parker again for TV's Garage Sale and Second Honeymoon, then won the third season of Dancing with the Stars — despite breaking a rib in the final. In 2023 Paul appeared in a range of lighthearted TV commercials leading up to the coronation of King Charles. She made a return appearance on Celebrity Treasure Island in 2024, twenty years after her 2003 stint.

I remember, in 2003, I won a challenge, and they said, ‘If you win this challenge, you’ll win a chicken’, and I’m thinking KFC, but I won the challenge and they gave me a live chicken. None of us could do anything with this chicken. I’m an animal lover. We ended up building a pen for it and keeping it as a pet.
