Great New Zealand Weather Songs

Kiwi conversation would be that much the poorer (or should that be richer?) without that old perennial: the weather. The weather has been high on the minds of Kiwi musicians from at least the 60s, when cover versions ('Sitting in the Rain', 'Rain and Tears') were as common as leaves in autumn. Later Dragon, DD Smash and Crowded House contributed classic weather songs of their own; Clap Clap Riot, The Veils and Bic Runga have continued the trend.
