The video for headbanging single 'Fish Across Face' offers a no holds barred introduction to Head like a Hole's primal rock style. The song made the Kiwi top ten; Nigel Streeter's fast-paced video feels like a tribal initiation. The band members wallow in mud, fling themselves around an inflatable castle, guzzle unappetising mush and pose in body paint. But HLAH's first video was soon pulled off air, seemingly thanks to a brief face to face exchange of 'fluids' (in reality orange juice). The worry was that the image wasn't helpful after a recent meningitis outbreak. Some suspect that the video's moments of nudity did not help either.
