Short Film (Full Length) – 2013
Two recently separated parents turn their war of words into a war of wardrobes, with their son Jacob as their reluctant model. His protest at all the squabbling changes the dynamic for the better. The short film won awards in Europe and Japan, and was a nominee for Best Short in the Generation K+ section of the 2013 Berlin Film Festival. First-time writer/ director Lauren Jackson won attention as the star of 1993 movie Alex, adapted from Tess Duder's acclaimed novel. Jacob is played by Duane Evans Junior (short film Ebony Society); his parents are ex Shortland Street-ers Jacob Rawiri and Narelle Ahrens.
