A young couple have trouble navigating the intricacies of marriage and parenting in this hour-long drama, directed by Gaylene Preston. Stay at home mum Trish (Tracey Moore), who is preparing for a rare night out, struggles with her lazy husband Kevin (Jed Brophy) as he repeatedly finds ways to complicate things. Things go from bad to worse when Trish returns home to a drunken babysitter. Made for female-forward anthology series Work of Art, Married marked Gaylene Preston's first drama for television, and Jed Brophy's first starring role on-screen. The screenplay is by award-winning author Sue McCauley (Other Halves).
