Blues singer Murray Grindlay (aka Monte Video) reinvented himself by composing a host of memorable TV jingles. 'Sheba (She Sha She Shoo)' was a follow-up to his surprise 1982 hit 'Shoop Shoop Diddy Wop...', but failed to emulate its success. As in Shoop Shoop, Grindlay plays a 'geezer' caught up in erotic imaginings, this time cinematic and Egyptian — complete with flaming torches and a voluptuous queen (singer Hattie St John). Sheba's crew of muscle-bound slaves includes Shazam! host Phillip Schofield, and All Black Gary Whetton. Roger Donaldson (Smash Palace) directs.
Ah ah ooh, from her neck hangs a charm/ ah ah ooh there's a snake up her arm...– Monte Video ( Murray Grindlay) gets lost in Egyptian fantasy
