Shortland Street - The birth of Carrie's triplets

Television (Excerpts) – 1993

In this excerpt from an early episode of Shortland Street, the staff are abuzz about Head Nurse Carrie Burton (Lisa Crittenden) going into labour with twins. Nurse Steve (Andrew Binns) proves to be a motivated birth partner. On the other side of town it's the aftermath of a Warner costume party. Looking like a true Romeo, Burton's sperm donor Chris Warner (Michael Galvin) opens up to his hungover brother Guy (Craig Parker) about his attraction to Meredith Fleming (Stephanie Wilkin). Guy pulls off his "seedy" Colonel Sanders costume with aplomb. The episode's twist arrives (physically) back in the birthing room.

I don't really know how to tell you this Carrie, but...you're going to have another baby.
– Steve (Andrew Binns) informs Carrie there's a third baby on its way
