Ventriloquist and host David Strassman has a hard time controlling puppet Chuck Wood in this episode of trans-Tasman chat show Strassman. The first guest is actor and producer Ginette McDonald, who isn't entirely comfortable being questioned by a "little wooden man", but who quickly adjusts to the unique format. Strassman invites a young Australian "trainee" ventriloquist called Gemma to interact with puppet Ted E. Bare. The second studio guest is legendary Australian music television presenter Molly Meldrum, who like McDonald, takes Chuck Wood on with a few witty one liners.
