Sailing legend Peter Blake, yacht designer Bruce Farr and merchant banker Michael Fay feature in this documentary about New Zealand's preparations for the 1992 America's Cup. Working together for the first time, the trio discuss their love of sailing, and Fay's past America's Cup losses. Blake states his team will have to put aside their families and holidays to win the cup. Kiwi Magic, dubbed a "skiff on steroids", later lost the Louis Vuitton Cup to Italy (the series which decides who gets to compete for the America's Cup). Kiwi Magic ended up losing the series, despite at one point being three races ahead of the Italians.
This is what we’re going to do. We’re going to win the America’s Cup, and if we can get our whole camp thinking that way, and that same camp know that they have a country thinking the same way…we’ve nearly got it made.– Peter Blake
