Producer Chris Hampson has worked in film and television for around 30 years. During that time, he has worked in state television and set up a production company, and seen many commissioners, policies and governments come and go, while negotiating the sometimes treacherous landscape of screen production. Along the way he has deliveied films and TV shows such as Illustrious Energy, Street Legal, Doves of War and Kaitangata Twitch.
In this ScreenTalk interview, Hampson talks about:
It’s the kind of film that you sit down in front of a big screen and just lean back and let it wash over you for one hundred minutes. Whereas if you are sitting forwards and watching it on a television screen, sometimes it just looks like a succession of wide shots, and it isn't.
