A lawyer by trade, Alice Snedden discovered that her passion was performing comedy while living in the United States. In this Funny As interview she discusses a range of topics, including:
- That she was “really bad” when she first hit the comedy stage with Auckland improv group Snort
- Performing improv two to three times a night in New York, while living there for a year
- Landing her first writing job on Funny Girls, and later becoming head writer on both Funny Girls and Jono and Ben
- Loving how improv is like “meditation” — her mind clears, and she just focuses on who’s on stage with her
- Working with comedian Rose Matafeo on various projects, including podcast Boners of the Heart
