Kiwi kids in the late 90s and early 2000s grew up watching the hilarious antics of Anthony Samuels and Jason Fa'afoi on What Now? In this Funny As interview the pair talk about being silly, working with kids and other topics, including:
- Using humour to stop being bullied while they were growing up
- How they both applied for the same job at What Now? in 1995 — Samuels became the co-presenter with Fiona Anderson, while Fa'afoi landed a gig as a reporter
- How the tight-knit cast and crew had a lot of fun (e.g. if the presenters wore pajamas, the whole crew would too)
- Walking the tightrope between being funny and keeping it clean for children
- Loving kids reaction to the show — "we realised that we had the power to make a kid's day or make their week"
