Loren Taylor

Award-winning, director and actor Loren Taylor (previously Horsley) won attention after starring in geek romance Eagle vs Shark, as a shy, lovestruck fast food worker (based on a character she created). Her film debut was four years earlier in road movie Kombi Nation; she also helped write the script. Taylor has appeared on Insider’s Guide to Happiness, starred in documentary Lovely Rita (as Rita Angus) and post-apocalyptic feature Existence. In 2023 she co-directed award-winning short film Hey Brainy Man, and wrote, directed and starred in dark comedy feature The Moon is Upside Down, following the stories of three different women.
