Alix Bushnell studied piano and classical singing, before moving into acting. Five months before graduating from Wellington acting school Toi Whakaari, she scored one of the main roles on hit drama Go Girls - as Britta, a kind-hearted but kooky bar-woman whose initial dream is finding fame. Bushnell also appears as a pregnant young woman in Michael Bennett's acclaimed feature debut Matariki.
