"Everyone wants to be a director when you start film school," says Amanda Jenkins, "However I seemed to fall naturally into the producing side of things." After studying film at Canterbury University's Ilam School of Fine Arts, Jenkins climbed the industry ladder to become a respected producer of both local content and international commercials. She has produced a number of successful short films, including Closer — which was nominated for the top award at Cannes — and Loading Doc The Scam. As a line producer and location manager, she has supported many adverts shot in Aotearoa and abroad, through her company AJ Films.
