Equally celebrated as both a television personality and a musician, Anika Moa has become a regular fixture on New Zealand TV screens. She has fronted her own interview shows (All Talk with Anika Moa, Anika Moa Unleashed), guest presented on others (Seven Sharp) and even acted (Wellington Paranormal). Moa's distinctive interview style of brutal honesty and cheeky humour has been a hit with audiences, and won her two Best Presenter gongs at the NZ Television Awards. She has also composed for the screen, including working on the scores of award-winning documentaries The Nuclear Comeback and Love, Speed and Loss.
Moa has a knack for getting people to let their guards down, usually by proving that she has no guard herself. She wants to take the piss out of people and build them up in equal measure. Spinoff writer Sam Brooks, in a review of show Anika Moa: Unleashed, 28 March 2018
