Fraser Brown

Since studying acting and commerce, Fraser Brown has worked on both sides of the camera. The 2001 Toi Whakaari graduate has portrayed paranoid lawyers (Shortland Street), cynical DJs (The Insiders Guide to Happiness), and cops (Harry). In 2014 he starred in Moa-nominated TV movie Field Punishment No. 1 as Archibald Baxter, a pacifist who was sent to the front lines during WWl. In real life, Brown has a growing CV as a producer. He has worked both with producer Matthew Metcalfe (2017 motor racing documentary McLaren) and through his own production company, FB Pictures (rich meets poor drama Orphans & Kingdoms). 

I'm an actor first and foremost. Part of me loves the totally creative element of acting. But there's another part of me that misses the logical, multi-faceted element to producing. Maybe I'm just greedy? Fraser Brown on whether he prefers acting to producing
