Freddie Hemara

After coming third on talent show Opportunity Knocks as a teen — one of the youngest singers to make the finals — Freddie Hemara acted on kidult hit Sea Urchins, playing one of the brother adventurers over three seasons. Hemara went on to balance work as a nightclub singer with minor roles in legal drama Hanlon and Gloss. Later he moved to Australia, where he has worked in hospitality and managed restaurants.
[Hemara] feels it would have been pointless and unrealistic to have the boys forever embarking on adventures and that they have finished on the right note — murmuring something about a possible Sea Geriatrics. Press Kit for season three of Sea Urchins
