James Roque got his start in the NZ Comedy Festival’s Class Comedians programme. Since completing acting studies at Unitec in 2012, he has been a regular on-screen as a comedian, whether as a stand-up comedian, or acting across — and writing for — a range of sketch shows, including Funny Girls and Jono & Ben. In 2015 he formed Frickin Dangerous Bro, with Pax Assadi and Jamaine Ross. Together the comedy trio has performed regularly on stage, and on TV show Only In Aotearoa, which the trio hosted and wrote for. In 2015 he began appearing on 7 Days; he continues to be a regular panelist. Image Credit: Photograph by Andi Crown
