The work of award-winning production designer John Harding ranges from Kiwi short films to international blockbusters. A trained art teacher, Harding spent five years at Weta Workshop on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and in 2009 was nominated for two awards for true crime thriller Until Proven Innocent. He worked alongside director Gaylene Preston on WWll era 'film memoir' Home By Christmas and Christchurch quake drama Hope and Wire, and was part of the costume design team on the first Avatar movie. Harding won the Best Production Design award for misfit comedy Predicament, at the 2011 Aotearoa Film and TV Awards.
