Since graduating from Toi Whakaari drama school in 2011, Auckland-based actor Leon Wadham has also dabbled in directing and writing. A familiar face on Kiwi television since 2013, Wadham has featured in Go Girls and The Bad Seed, and guested on The Brokenwood Mysteries. Behind the camera, he has worked on a range of comedy shows, such as writing and directing for Alice Snedden's Bad News, writing on Sunny Skies, and directing for Golden Boy and The Citizen's Handbook. In 2022 Wadham landed a role in high profile Amazon series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, as spoilt young nobleman Kemen.

Leon Wadham on why he branched out from acting into directing and writing, The Dominion Post (Sunday liftout), 11 September 2022
