Matt Noonan

After getting his start at 17, helping out on Peter Jackson movie Bad Taste, Matt Noonan has gone on to become a prolific producer. In 1999 he founded production company Curious Film, originally alongside cinematographer Darryl Ward. Noonan has been on the producing team for a number of features, including box office hit Hunt for The Wilderpeople, identity drama Fantail, and Chinese downunder romance Only Cloud Knows. He has also produced numerous award-winning commercial campaigns and arranged location shoots for overseas companies — and even branched out into distributing movies, as well as producing them.
