Natalie Medlock got her big break in 2011, playing former prison inmate Jill Kingsbury on Shortland Street. The British-born Toi Whakaari graduate has gone on to appear regularly on-screen, from docudrama Roman Empire to comical web series Sextortion. She also writes scripts, counting episodes of The Almighty Johnsons and 800 Words amongst her credits. Her short film work includes writing and directing The Pact and Goodness Grows. In 2021 Medlock co-wrote and co-starred in feature-length project There is No "I' in Threesome, which was picked up by American cable network HBO Max.
