Nigel Snowden

Producer

Producer Nigel Snowden may be one to "hide from publicity", but his name can be found attached to innumerable TV shows through the last three decades. A defining figure of the reality TV boom of the early 2000s, he has left an indelible mark on the Kiwi television landscape. Alongside work for Greenstone and Māori Television, Snowden founded Cream Media, whose hit shows included Border Patrol and Coastwatch.

Nigel is incredibly imaginative, has a deep affection for real life New Zealand 'characters', and loved chasing a commission for a new idea. He was constantly developing new proposals, and surrounded himself with excellent people to turn those ideas into reality. While he’s a real showman/salesman, I think Nigel is happiest designing graphics or music, and coming up with the next big thing audiences will love.
