French-born Prisca Bouchet is an editor, director and cinematographer with a passion for documentary. Bouchet studied communication and anthropology at Université Lumière Lyon in France before moving to Auckland in the early 2000s. She has edited such documentaries as comedy history series Funny As, award-winning feature A Mild Touch of Cancer and White Island series The Eruption: Stories of Survival. She has also directed a number of documentary shorts Le Taxidermiste Egg Cup Requiem and After Life — that have enjoyed international and local festival success. Her production company is LOOM Films.
