Kiwi audiences first met Tim Lambourne as a TV presenter, and he has since had success in a multitude of roles — director, writer, cinematographer, photographer and DJ. After studying journalism at Auckland University of Technology, Lambourne cut his teeth in the TV3 newsroom before joining youth channel TVNZ U in 2011 — as part of a team of young presenters hosting three hours of live entertainment daily. When TVNZ U ended in 2013, he relocated to Tokyo, but work often brought him home. Lambourne hosted documentary Gate to the Globe, and has directed music videos, and promos for fashion brands Hugo Boss and Lee Jeans.
