10 Years Younger in 10 Days

Television, 2005–2008

Ordinary New Zealanders undertake a "10 day grooming assault course" to wind back the years in the Kiwi version of this reality makeover show. Presenter Fiona McDonald (from band Headless Chickens) supports participants as they digest blunt feedback and visit a group of cosmetic, hair and wardrobe experts. They have just ten days to 'transform' the subject's looks and self-esteem. Each episode ends with an emotional reveal. The show ran for two seasons. A 2006 a 'one year on' series caught up with participants, followed by 2008 spin-off series 10 Years Younger in 10 Days - The Couples.
