Writer/director Amarbir Singh's low budget feature is set amongst the bars, food courts and brothels of Karangahape Road, one of Auckland's most infamous streets. Six storylines are at play. Taxi driver Rajender (Rajeev Varma) waxes lyrical about his life to a documentary team, but is struggling emotionally and financially. The partner of a sex worker monitors her every move, and two old mates (Bruce Hopkins and Nial Greenstock) banter over the pool table, barely hiding their mutual distrust. Pablo Araus won an 2005 NZ Screen Award for his cinematography; the film was nominated for Best Digital Feature.
