Ngāti Porou, Te Whānau a Te Aotāwarirangi me Ruataupare
Singer Chad 'Boogieman' Chambers has been a fixture of New Zealand's reggae scene for over a decade. Chambers won the grand final of television talent competition Homai Te Pakipaki in 2011. Soon after he collaborated with reggae band Tomorrow People on double platinum single 'Souljah Feeling'. A prolific performer on the local festival circuit, Chambers is known for often appearing in gumboots. His bilingual solo album Nāti Shores arrived in 2023, the same year he featured on series Waiata Anthems series with his song 'Kei Pōhēhē'.
