Corrella

Corrella's roots originate from an unlikely place — Auckland's naval base in Devonport. The musicians were in the navy when they initially formed a covers band. Led by singer Pipiwharauroa Campbell, they made their debut as Corella in 2020 with reggae single 'Summertime in Aotearoa'. Te reo Māori tracks followed with 'Raumati' in 2022 and 'Ko Au' a year later. 'Blue Eyed Māori' reached number one on the Kiwi charts later in 2023 — staying there for over a year — and won Breakthrough Single at the 2024 Aotearoa Music Awards. Corrella also won Best Roots Artist. They released debut album Road from 26 in 2023.
