Darryl. An Outward Bound Story

This award-winning web comedy was inspired by Millen Baird’s experiences doing adventure courses at Outward Bound. Featuring a cast of familiar Kiwi faces (including Siobhan Marshall and Fasitua Amosa), the 10-part series was shot over 12 days at Outward Bound's base in Anikiwa. Baird plays Darryl, a flailing but determined man with a stellar moustache, who seeks solace from his patronising inner voice. Director Kiel McNaughton (Find Me a Māori Bride) also turned Darryl into a telemovie and a four-part TV series.
