The Finn Brothers

Tim Finn and his younger brother Neil began singing harmonies together while growing up in Te Awamutu. In 1977 Neil joined Tim in Split Enz, and Neil wrote the band's first chart topper, 'I Got You'. In late 1989 the two had an "amazing burst" of songwriting in Melbourne for a potential Finn brothers album, but instead much of the material ended up on the third Crowded House album, Woodface. Later the brothers reunited for the eclectic, lo-fi Finn (1995). They released the smoother Everyone is Here (2004) as The Finn Brothers. Single 'Anything Can Happen', can be heard on American TV series Scrubs, and in film Aurora Borealis.
