The night after the Christchurch quake on 22 February 2011, Alexandra’s three-person rural drink-drive squad were sent to Christchurch's city centre. They were accompanied by Pip Wallis, who had been filming them for an episode of Highway Cops. Hers was one of the only media cameras allowed behind the cordon in the devastated central Red Zone, during those first few days. This documentary mixes news coverage with her footage, as the team confront unimagined destruction, ongoing aftershocks and the human face of the tragedy. Geoff Conway's editing on this documentary was nominated for an Aotearoa TV Award.
They were straightforward, no frills people hurled into a crisis, reacting to it in a very human way.– Dominion Post reviewer Jane Clifton, 27 May 2011
