In search of a hideout, gun-totting Gigi (Kate Elliott) and her gang end up in hot water after crashing into the lives of a middle class Māori family. To describe the whānau as meat lovers would be euphemistic. Actor/director Danny Mulheron has gleefully given the finger to political correctness before — with Meet the Feebles, play The Sex Fiend, and TV's Seven Periods with Mr Gormsby. This movie marked his big screen directing debut. The anarchic result promised cannibalism, comedy, and Temuera Morrison. In the second clip, a visiting cop gets suspicious. The third clip is a highlights clip set to song 'Puha and Pākehā'.
It's rude to sit at a Māori table and not eat.– Hemi Crane (Temuera Morrison) at the dinner table
