Despite launching her musical career at the height of a global pandemic, Mount Maunganui pop artist Georgia Lines found success locally and abroad. After gaining traction on Spotify, Lines released track 'No One Knows' — the first single following her self-titled EP — which won Best Video at the 2021 Aotearoa Music Awards. Lines went on to win Best Breakthrough Artist at the 2022 Aotearoa Music Awards, where she was also nominated for Best Pop Artist. After playing at SXSW in 2023, one of America’s biggest booking agencies, Wasserman Music, signed her. In 2024 Lines released her chart-topping debut album The Rose of Jericho.
