This "infectious, platinum-certified slow jam" (according to music writer Martyn Pepperell) introduced the voice of Samoan-Indian singer Aaradhna. Her pairing with popular R&B duo Adeaze was a number one hit; Getting Stronger became the second most played Kiwi song of 2004. This video sees Aaradhna selling the song's message of inner strength, giving herself a mirror pep talk in her tour bus (even crooning into a hairbrush) before joining the boys on set. The track was released on Adeaze's debut album Always & For Real, which sold more than 18,000 copies in its first week.
