Golden Boy

Golden Boy was one of five comedy pilots which screened on Three in September 2018. Golden Boy and Mean Mums got their own series. Hayley Sproull stars as a young journalism graduate reduced to working at the local small-town dairy, while her All Black playing brother Tama (Boy 's James Rolleston) gets all the attention. Dean O'Gorman (The Almighty Johnsons) plays Mitch's romantic interest. In the pilot, Mitch 's parents were portrayed by Rawiri Paratene and Ingrid Park; in the series version, Rima Te Wiata and Alison Bruce took over.
