Part Billy T James Show, part Prince Tui Teka cabaret, Happy Hour recalls light entertainment shows from the 1970s and 80s. Screening on TV One at 9.30pm on Saturdays, the live variety show featured musical guests from Annie Crummer to Scribe, while Cohen Holloway delivered uncanny impressions of David Lange and Jake 'the Muss' Heke. Temuera Morrison shares presenting duties with Keisha Castle-Hughes and radio DJ Thane Kirby. House band The Modern Māori Quartet also act in various sketches, as does Miriama McDowell.
