Occasional Heartland host Maggie Barry heads to the deep south to visit Gore. Barry checks out horseshoeing with the New Zealand Farriers Association, visits the local freezing works, and attends the legendary NZ Gold Guitar Awards (Barry sees performer Suzanne Prentice on stage). Barry's trip to Gore was a low key affair compared to the controversial visit by a TV crew some years later by Havoc and Newsboy's Sell-Out Tour, which enraged some locals with comments made by Mikey Havoc and Jeremy Wells.
