Interrogation

Television, 2005

Prime TV's first local drama was the award-winning Interrogation. Built around the high stakes drama of the police interrogation room, it starred Luanne Gordon (The Strip) and Scott Wills (Stickmen) as detectives — backed by Peter Elliott, John Leigh, Miriama McDowell, and Jay Ryan, plus a strong team of writers and guest actors. Sony HD handicams helped provide a realistic, handheld look. The 13 episode South Pacific Pictures show won NZ Screen Awards for writer Fiona Samuel, editor Lisa Hough and guest actor Claire Chitham.
