Jonny Love

Jonny Love arrived in New Zealand in 2002 from England, with plans to earn a degree and pursue a professional rugby career. When injury interrupted his sports plans, he turned to his other passion — music. Love set up his own record label, and on the back of self-released single 'Not the First (Not The Last)' signed a deal with Warner Music. The track won the Juice TV Breakthrough Video award in 2008, the same year he released his self-titled debut album. Love's second album Courage was released in 2011. The music video for lead single 'Weight of Tomorrow' sees him walking around Aotearoa in eye-popping stop-motion.
