K Road Chronicles

Web series K Road Chronicles follows community journalist and former rough sleeper Six as she documents the lives of the homeless on Auckland's Karangahape Road. The series consists of three seasons, focusing on the causes of homelessness and how the Covid-19 lockdowns affected the rough sleeping community — many of whom are interviewed. Ex Al Jazeera documentary maker Naashon Zalk won a directing award for season one at the 2019 NZ Web Fest. The series debuted on Stuff; each episode runs roughly 10 to 12 minutes.
