Loner

Web series Loner explores friendship, love and loneliness over six episodes. It follows loud, outgoing Mel (Lucinda Hare, from Auckward Love) and her shy friend Charlotte (Gloria Feasen-Kloet from film Three Wise Cousins) as they prepare for and attend a party. Jonny Brugh (What We Do in the Shadows) cameos as a kimono-wearing writer. Lauren Porteous wrote, directed and produced, earning herself a Best Director Award in the NZ Narrative section of the 2020 NZ Web Fest. The cast also includes Ben Van Lier (miniseries Hillary).
