Looking Your Best - Travel

Less is best is the mantra for this short 1970s tutorial on what clothes women should pack for travelling. Tatler magazine editor Leslie Field unpacks her suitcase on television to reveal two skirts, two pairs of shoes and nine shirts as her main wardrobe for a month of travel. Watching on, Bunty Finney and Helen Vause seem surprised that she doesn't get bored of so few skirts. Field's reply: "I've got to the point of being middle age and I don't need to show off everyday that I own more than one thing."

It seems to me women have too many clothes —there’s no necessity.
