Loose Enz

Television, 1982

These 12 stand-alone dramas included everything from land rights protests and relationship dramas, to a Tom Scott comedy set in the parliamentary press gallery. Loose Enz's later 9:30pm time slot allowed for racier and more confrontational content.  An illustrious cast and crew included names who had forged, or were soon to cut, vital paths in the screen industry. Among them were producer Tony Isaac (The Governor) and future Shortland Street legend Caterina De Nave, plus an eclectic array of acting talent — including newsreader Angela D'Audney, Billy T James, Kate Harcourt, actor/director Merata Mita, Paul Holmes and Roy Billing.
