McDonald's Young Entertainers is a young persons' talent quest featuring Jason Gunn and a gang of all singing, dancing Super Troopers — including early TV appearances by actor Michelle Ang and presenter Drew Neemia (Sticky TV). This series finale sees ballet dancer Anita Hutchins, pianist Shona Yu and dancer Natasha Tsao perform for judges Tina Cross and Matty J. It's a tough job, with all three delivering polished routines. While the judges weigh up their choice, the Super Troopers perform a tribute to Hollywood; Neemia channels early Elvis, and Holly Odgers (then Holly Walmsley) does a Shirley Temple number.
I started working on McDonald's Young Entertainers when I was about 10-years-old, finished when I was 13, and all I can remember from back then is just being a kid and having an extreme amount of fun...– Former Super Trooper Drew Neemia on being a Young Entertainers regular, Stuff, 8 February 2019
