Mean Mums

Mean Mums was one of two comedy series commissioned by Three after debuting during the channel's 2018 Comedy Pilot Week. Morgana O'Reilly (Housebound) plays Jess: Mum to five-year-old Ryan, she is as keen as her son to make new buddies through school. Mean Mums creator Amanda Alison (Wellington Paranormal) was inspired by her experience of  the "crazy" parent dynamics of primary schools. The cast includes ex-Shortland Streeter Anna Julienne and comedian Cori-Gonzalez Macuer. A third season debuts in 2021.
