Veteran political reporter Richard Harman launched weekly current affairs show The Nation in 2010. Broadcast on a Saturday morning on Three, the interview-based series focuses on politics. Stephen Parker and Duncan Garner were the original presenters; later hosts have included Sean Plunket, Lisa Owen, Rachel Smalley, Emma Jolliff and Simon Shepherd. The one-hour long programme features in-depth interviews, as well as panel discussions and prerecorded stories. It was rebranded as Newshub Nation in February 2018.
