Three's weekly current affairs show kicks off its first 2020 episode discussing the furore over political donations, and who will win the general election. Political commentators debate whether New Zealand First has been transparent, following claims political donations to the NZ First Foundation weren't disclosed correctly. Predictions for what party will win the 2020 general election lead a second panel to agree that Labour's strength will be Jacinda Ardern's leadership skills. The programme ends with a tribute to former Newshub Nation co-presenter Emma Jolliff, who died of cancer in February 2020.
